Thornless shrubs or small trees;
Plant: up to 15 meters tall;
Branches: Young branches and leaf rachis are covered with short gray hairs and covered with hoarfrost;
Leaves: bipinnately compound leaves, silvery gray or light green, sometimes slightly golden when the leaves are not unfolded; the glands on the leaf rachis are located where the pinnae are; there are 10-20 (-25) pairs of pinnae; Leaflets 26-46 pairs, dense, spacing no more than the width of the leaflet itself, linear, 2.6-3.5 mm long, 0.4-0.5 mm wide, with gray-swept pubescence below or on both sides;
Flowers: The diameter of the flower head is 6-7 mm, and the peduncle is about 3 mm long, arranged into axillary racemes or terminal panicles; the flowers are light yellow or orange-yellow;
Fruit: Pods are oblong, 3-8 cm long, 0.7-1.2 cm wide, flat, hairless, usually covered with white frost, reddish brown or black;
