Flowers: dioecious, female inflorescences axillary, spike-shaped, 15-30 cm long, pendulous, with pubescent rachis; female flower bracts are ovate and rhombic, scattered, about 1 mm long, entire, with pubescent outer surfaces. There are 3-7 female flowers in the axils of the bracts, clustered; female flowers: 4(-3) sepals, nearly oval, about 0.8 mm long, with an acute tip and short hairs; the ovary is nearly spherical, densely covered with gray-yellow coarse hairs. There are 3 styles, 6-7 mm long, with 5-7 torn strips, red or purple; male inflorescence is not seen;
